Ways to align objects

You can line up objects on the workspace in the following ways:

Align them relative to the picture area   By default, objects align in relation to each other. If you want to align them in relation to the picture area — for example, at the top or left edge of the picture area — you can select the Relative to Picture Area command on the Align submenu (Arrange menu). Align objects in relation to the picture area

Align their edges   If you want to align two or more objects by their left, right, top, or bottom edges, choose from the Align commands on the Arrange menu. Align objects by their edges

Align their centers   If you want to align two or more objects by their centers (vertically) or middles (horizontally), select Align Center or Align Middle. Align objects horizontally or vertically
